Pereyra Shines Bright in Historic Dubai Racing Carnival Debut

Abhinay Kinger, a prominent actor in Tamil and Malayalam cinema, passed away at the age of 44 after a prolonged battle with liver disease. He first gained recognition with his debut in the 2002 film Thulluvadho Ilamai, alongside Dhanush. Despite his early success, his later years were overshadowed by health struggles that ultimately led to his untimely demise on November 10, 2025.

His death has elicited a significant reaction within the Tamil film community. Colleagues and fans alike expressed their condolences on social media, highlighting the impact of his work in the industry. Reports reveal that Abhinay had been suffering from liver disease for several years, undergoing various medical treatments in an attempt to combat the illness. Unfortunately, his condition worsened in recent months, despite ongoing support from medical professionals and loved ones.

In the weeks leading up to his death, Abhinay publicly sought financial assistance for his medical expenses. A heartfelt video surfaced where he spoke about his uncertain future, stating that doctors estimated he might have only a year and a half left to live. Several industry figures stepped forward to help; comedian KPY Bala provided monetary support, and Dhanush, his co-star in Thulluvadho Ilamai, contributed ₹5 lakh towards his treatment.

With no immediate family to perform the last rites, the South Indian Artistes’ Association (SIAA), represented by Nadigar Sangam, has taken responsibility for organizing the arrangements as a sign of solidarity and support for one of their own.

Abhinay’s career included over 15 films across Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada cinema, showcasing his versatility as an actor. He notably lent his voice as a dubbing artist for Vidyut Jammwal’s character in the Tamil film Thuppakki, directed by AR Murugadoss. His lasting legacy continues through the works he leaves behind.

As fans and colleagues reflect on his contributions, the film industry mourns the loss of a talented individual whose journey was marked by both artistic achievements and personal challenges.
