Smriti Mandhana Removes All Photos With Fiancé Palash Muchhal Amid Wedding Delay

Smriti Mandhana’s life took an unexpected turn when her father, Shrinivas Mandhana, suffered heart attack symptoms on what was supposed to be her wedding day. He was admitted to Sarvhit Hospital in Sangli, Maharashtra, on November 23, 2025, prompting Smriti to cancel her wedding plans and erase all wedding-related content from her Instagram account.

Following the postponement, fans quickly noticed that Smriti had removed all posts concerning her wedding, including videos of her engagement. While it remains unclear if these posts were deleted or archived, they are no longer visible on her public profile. This notable action signaled the seriousness of the situation, and her close friends, Jemimah Rodrigues and Shreyanka Patil, also deleted their posts from the wedding celebrations.

As reported by Tuhin Mishra, Smriti’s business manager, Shrinivas suffered a heart attack shortly before the wedding was set to begin. The family was terrified and rushed him to the hospital, initially causing the wedding festivities to be called off. Sources confirmed that Smriti and her family are by her father’s side as he remains hospitalized.

Currently under observation, Shrinivas Mandhana’s condition is stable, but the family has requested privacy during this challenging period as they prioritize his recovery. They are still uncertain when the wedding celebrations will be rescheduled, and all decorations have since been taken down.

Expected to take place on November 23, 2025, the wedding had been a highly anticipated event, with close family and friends, along with members of the Women’s cricket team, in attendance. The festivities were characterized by vibrant ceremonial events, including a colorful haldi and mehendi celebration, and even a friendly cricket match between the two families, reflecting a modern yet traditional celebration.

In a related development, Palash Muchhal, Smriti’s fiancé, was reported to have fallen ill the day after the wedding was postponed. His mother described Palash’s close bond with Smriti’s father, stating that he became distressed upon hearing the news of Shrinivas’s health condition. She revealed that Palash was kept at the hospital for observation due to his extreme emotional reaction, which involved crying and anxiety over the situation.

While attuning to the events surrounding Smriti’s decision to remove wedding-related content amidst this family emergency, many are left wondering about the implications of her actions. As they navigate this tumultuous time, the focus remains on their well-being and the future of their relationship.
