Alankriitaa Sahai Hints at 2026 Engagement in Exciting Proposal Update

Alankriitaa Sahai is an Indian actress recognized for her performances in films like Love Per Square Foot, her debut alongside Vicky Kaushal in 2018. She has appeared in other notable films such as Namaste England and began her career in modeling. The actress is known for her private life and is rumored to be planning an engagement in 2026 with her entrepreneur partner, with whom she has been in a stable relationship for two years.

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Sahai reflected on the significance of love in her life, especially after her father’s passing. She expressed excitement about the prospect of her engagement, emphasizing her desire for a unique proposal and ceremony. Sahai articulated her vision:

“I want him to surprise me by planning things to perfection. I feel anything related to love should be celebrated in a big way, so engagement next year for sure and marriage can wait until later.”

The actress has kept her partner’s identity confidential, noting that he is not part of the film industry and prefers to maintain a low profile. She believes that disclosing his identity could complicate their relationship until they both choose to be more public. Marriage might be on the horizon, but Sahai insists they need to reach a certain level of readiness first.

“We have known each other for quite some time; he has been there with me through thick and thin. His support has strengthened my belief in our relationship. He shares the same concern for my family as I do, so I strongly feel we can take this forward. 2026 will be a big year for me,” she shared.

Sahai recently returned to Mumbai in September 2025 after spending over three years in Chandigarh, a period during which she was dealing with her father’s death. Upon her return, she revealed two upcoming projects in the OTT space, set to begin filming in December 2025. Additionally, she has been cast in a Tamil-Telugu film, where she plays one of the lead roles, with production scheduled to start in February 2026.

Alankriitaa Sahai made history as the first Indian woman to win seven titles at the Miss Earth competition held in the Philippines. She was also the last Indian representative at Miss Earth, selected through Femina Miss India and Miss Diva. Throughout her career in pageantry, she earned a gold medal for her evening gown presentation, a silver for being Miss Photogenic, and bronze for her national and swimsuit costume displays.

As Alankriitaa prepares for the next exciting chapter in her life, fans eagerly await updates on her engagement and upcoming projects.
