Salman Agha Confirms Pakistan’s Preparedness for 2026 T20 World Cup

Actors Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol recently attended a prayer meet in Mumbai to honor their late father, veteran actor Dharmendra. This gathering marked their first public appearance since Dharmendra’s passing, and it was an emotionally charged occasion for the family.

The prayer meet, held at a hotel after a private funeral, brought together numerous friends and colleagues from the film industry, all coming to pay their respects to the revered actor who passed away at the age of 89. Various images shared on social media depict the emotional moments shared by Sunny and Bobby as they greeted guests, showcasing their deep sense of loss.

In one poignant photo, both brothers donned simple white attire, with Sunny visibly emotional as he welcomed attendees with a respectful ‘namaste’. Bobby stood beside him, maintaining his composure amid the sorrowful atmosphere. A large framed portrait of Dharmendra, surrounded by flowers, served as a touching centerpiece of the memorial.

The ‘Celebration of Life’ event unfolded in the lush lawns of Taj Lands End in Bandra and lasted from 5:30 PM to around 8 PM. The Deol family, including Karan and Abhay Deol, remained present throughout, sharing in their collective grief and honoring their father’s legacy.

A significant turnout included notable figures from the industry, such as Shah Rukh Khan’s family, Aishwarya Rai, Salman Khan, and many more who came to remember Dharmendra. The presence of such luminaries emphasized the actor’s lasting influence on Indian cinema and the affection held for him.

Dharmendra’s journey came to a close just days before his 90th birthday, which would have been on December 8. He had recently returned home after a period of recuperation following his discharge from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. His cremation took place on November 25, marking the end of an era for his family and fans alike.
