Malti Chahar Addresses ‘L***ian’ Accusations in BB19 and Blames Farrhana

Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Salman Khan, is nearing its climax with the announcement of the ultimate winner just hours away. Recently, the show’s top five contestants have been identified, and among the notable events, actress and filmmaker Malti Chahar was evicted. In her first interview following her exit, Malti addressed the controversy surrounding claims made by fellow contestants about her sexuality.

In an interview with Zoom, Malti discussed why she was labeled a “lesbian” by the other housemates. She attributed this narrative to fellow contestant Farrhana Bhatt, asserting that Farrhana was not cautious about her words and had a tendency to create such narratives for her own benefit. Malti expressed her feelings about the label, stating that it does not offend her, and she would openly accept it if it were true.

Throughout Malti’s time in the Bigg Boss house, tensions with Farrhana were evident. Their frequent arguments led some viewers and housemates to misconstrue Malti’s behavior as admiration. She defended herself, clarifying that there was nothing inappropriate about her interactions with Farrhana, and she was simply engaged in conversation with both genders during her time on the show. Malti firmly declared her heterosexuality, emphasizing that she would have openly identified as a lesbian if that were the case.

Despite insisting she was not obsessed with Farrhana, this perception lingered among fans. Throughout the series, Malti was depicted as being in conflict and dialogue with Farrhana, which seemed to suggest otherwise. In response to media inquiries about this dynamic, Malti reiterated that it was Farrhana who provoked her interactions, not the other way around.

Malti Chahar is a multifaceted individual, known as an actress, model, filmmaker, and content creator. She is the younger sister of cricketer Deepak Chahar and has established a significant public profile through modeling, pageants, and social media prior to joining Bigg Boss. Her notable film credits include roles in projects like Genius, Ishq Pashmina, and Manicure. Throughout her stint on Bigg Boss 19, lasting nearly eight weeks, she reportedly earned between Rs. 16 to 24 lakhs.

As Bigg Boss 19 approaches its grand finale, it has stirred intense drama over the past three months. The final five contestants vying for the title are Farrhana Bhatt, Gaurav Khanna, Amaal Mallik, Pranit More, and Tanya Mittal. While discussions hint at Gaurav Khanna’s eventual victory, the winner will officially be revealed on December 7, 2025.
