Monali Thakur Dives Into Smelly Bin to Rescue Diamond Ring at Zurich Airport

Monali Thakur, an acclaimed Indian playback singer, recently found herself in an unexpected and amusing situation at Zurich airport. Early one morning, she humorously recounted how she climbed into a garbage bin to retrieve her lost diamond ring, an adventure she shared with her followers on social media.

In a video, Monali detailed the incident, explaining that as she was disposing of her garbage, her cherished diamond ring slipped off and fell inside the bin. At 4 a.m. in an almost empty airport, she decided it was necessary to get the ring back, despite the challenge of accessing the bin. Her candid narration included her uncertainty about how to proceed, joking about the difficulties of retrieving the valuable piece of jewelry.

Describing her efforts to recover the ring, Monali expressed both the physical challenge of opening the heavy bin and the reluctance she felt about the grimy situation. With the help of a few kind strangers who assisted her in opening the bin, she eventually succeeded in getting her ring back, creating a light-hearted story about a potentially stressful moment.

Beyond her Zurich adventure, Monali Thakur has been in the news recently due to a health scare. She had to be hospitalized in Dinhata, Cooch Behar, West Bengal, after experiencing breathing difficulties during a live performance. Midway through her show, she apologized to the audience for having to stop due to her condition.

Monali first gained fame by winning Indian Idol 2 and has since established a successful career in the music industry. Known for her versatility, she has lent her voice to numerous popular songs across several languages. Notable hits include “Sawaar Loon,” “Moh Moh Ke Dhaage,” “Zara Zara Touch Me,” and “Badri Ki Dulhania,” which have contributed to her recognition as a talented and celebrated artist. Monali’s achievements include winning a National Award, highlighting her significant impact in Indian music.
