Nagarjuna Responds to Pregnancy Rumors About Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita

Recent speculation has surrounded Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, with reports suggesting that they may be expecting their first child. While the couple has yet to make an official statement, Nagarjuna, Chaitanya’s father, has addressed the rumors.

In a recent interview with Suman TV, Nagarjuna was asked about the possibility of becoming a grandfather. Although he initially laughed off the question, he subtly hinted at the news, stating, “I’ll let you know when the time is right.” His response has fueled further curiosity among fans.

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala were married on December 4, 2024, in a ceremony held at the Annapurna Studios, which is owned by Nagarjuna. Speaking to Hindustan Times, Chaitanya shared insights on life after marriage, noting that both he and Sobhita have found a harmonious balance between their professional careers and personal lives.

Earlier this year at WAVES 2025 in Mumbai, Sobhita’s choice of attire—a traditional saree—sparked rumors about a potential baby bump. Many on social media speculated that her loose-fitting clothing was meant to conceal a pregnancy. However, a family source dismissed these claims, clarifying that the actress opted for anti-fit designs rather than maternity wear. The source commented on how a simple change in silhouette could lead to speculation and rumor.

In a candid interview with The New York Times, the couple discussed their bond over the Telugu language, which is their shared mother tongue. Chaitanya acknowledged that his proficiency in Telugu was not as strong as Sobhita’s due to his childhood in Chennai, where Tamil was predominantly spoken. This linguistic connection has helped him reconnect with his roots and enhanced his relationship with Sobhita.

As fans await an official confirmation regarding their potential pregnancy, the couple’s journey together continues to be a topic of interest.
