Mandhira Kapur Calls Out Priya Sachdev Over Allegations of Financial Abuse

Business tycoon Sunjay Kapur’s sudden death in June 2025 has triggered a heated family dispute over his substantial estate, valued at Rs. 30,000 crores. The will, dated March 21, 2025, allegedly leaves all of Sunjay’s property to his third wife, Priya Sachdev Kapur. His children from his previous marriage to actress Karisma Kapoor have filed a petition in the Delhi High Court, claiming that the will was forged.

The conflict intensified when Mandhira Kapur, Sunjay’s sister, publicly criticized Priya during a recent podcast episode of InControversial. Mandhira expressed her doubts about Priya’s intentions and raised questions regarding the authenticity of the will. She emphasized that the Kapoor family would continue to uphold their legacy and asserted that Priya should not represent them.

Mandhira also expressed skepticism about the circumstances surrounding Sunjay’s death, suggesting that he did not pass away from natural causes. Her statement highlighted doubts over the idea that Sunjay would leave his entire inheritance to Priya while ignoring his two children. She believes there is more to the story and plans to uncover the truth behind his death, asserting that Sunjay was in good health prior to his passing.

The legal battle over Sunjay Kapoor’s estate has recently gained traction in the Delhi High Court. The court is examining objections raised by Priya and the executor of the will, Shraddha Suri Marwah, against the children’s request for a forensic examination of the will. The children allege that the will is a forgery intended to exclude them from their late father’s assets.

Reports indicate that Priya has resisted the calls for a forensic examination, maintaining that she has complied with all legal procedures and is confident in the legitimacy of the will that serves as the foundation for her claims to the estate and business interests.

Mandhira’s recent statements and the ongoing legal proceedings raise critical questions about family dynamics and the authenticity of legal documents. As the battle unfolds in court, many are speculating about the implications for the Kapoor family and the future of Sunjay’s business interests.

This case continues to develop, and observers are keen to hear different perspectives on Mandhira’s assertions against Priya Sachdev Kapoor. It remains to be seen how the court will rule on the family’s allegations and what the outcome will mean for all parties involved.
