Sussanne Khan Honors Her Late Mother Zarine with Heartfelt Memories

Sussanne Khan recently paid tribute to her late mother, Zarine Khan, who passed away at the age of 81 in November. Over a month after her mother’s death, Sussanne shared a heartfelt note along with a video collage on Instagram, celebrating Zarine’s life and the memories they created as a family.

The touching video featured cherished moments with Zarine alongside her husband, actor-director Sanjay Khan, as well as their children Zayed Khan, Farah Ali Khan, and Sussanne’s children, Hridhaan and Hrehaan Roshan. These images highlighted the family’s bond during a time of remembrance.

In her emotional message, Sussanne expressed the depth of her love and loss, stating, “My Mummsy Angel.. Everything stops when I think of your face… today your soul is 40 days away from us… to our most Spectacular Mothership.” She conveyed her feelings of gratitude for being chosen as Zarine’s daughter and reassured that she would carry her mother’s spirit within her every day.

Sussanne added, “Miss you all the time… and in between that too,” closing her note with a reference to her dreams of dancing with her mother amidst life’s challenges. The tribute included a soundtrack of Adnan Sami’s song, “Tera Chehra,” adding a poignant touch to the memories shared.

Following her mother’s passing, Sussanne took to social media the very next day, describing Zarine as her “bestest friend, God and life.” In that initial post, she highlighted the invaluable lessons of grace and love that Zarine instilled in her family. Sussanne emphasized how her mother would always be their “Guiding Light,” inspiring them to live life fully.

In closing her message, she noted, “You teach the Angels in heaven how to love… they are so lucky to have you.” This beautiful sentiment reflected the profound impact Zarine had on her family’s lives. Sussanne also shared a touching video that showcased their close relationship, captured in a moment of loving embrace.

Zarine Khan is survived by her husband Sanjay and their children: Sussanne, Zayed, Farah, and Simone Arora. The couple celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in April, marking a long and loving partnership that continued to inspire their family.
