Ananya Panday Introduces Gen Z Slang to Amitabh Bachchan While Kartik Aaryan Dances

Bollywood stars Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday are making a special appearance on the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This episode will air prior to the release of their film Tu Meri Main Tera, promising a blend of humor, music, and generational exchanges.

In a promotional clip, Ananya introduces Bachchan to various Gen Z slang terms, generating moments of both confusion and laughter. She elaborates on expressions like “OOTD” (Outfit of the Day), “drip,” and “no cap,” transforming the quiz into a playful slang tutorial.

Amusingly, Ananya refers to Bachchan as a “drip,” a term denoting someone stylish. This prompts a witty response from the veteran actor, who humorously suggests that for him, “drip” simply means water leaking from a roof, much to the delight of the audience.

As the slang lesson progresses, Ananya proclaims, “Amitabh Bachchan is the greatest in the world, no cap,” explaining that this phrase expresses sincerity. Her playful admiration for the host adds a light-hearted touch to the exchange.

The atmosphere remains lively as Amitabh inquires about Ananya’s feelings on the hot seat, leading her to jokingly remark, “It feels very hot. I knew it would be a ‘hot seat,’ but I didn’t expect it to be this hot.” This candid comment highlights the pressure of being in such a high-stakes environment.

Kartik Aaryan joins the fun, introducing Bachchan to popular hand gestures, including the endearing Korean heart sign. The episode will also showcase an energetic dance number, featuring the trio performing the iconic Jumma Chumma, enhancing the celebratory spirit of the program.

Viewers can look forward to the episode airing on December 18 at 9 PM on Sony Television.

In addition to their appearance on the show, Aaryan and Panday are set to star in the upcoming romantic drama Tu Meri Main Tera, marking their first collaboration on screen. This film has garnered attention for its portrayal of modern relationships and youthful romance, supported by lively music. Positioned as a feel-good entertainer, it aims to resonate with younger audiences as it explores love’s complexities in today’s world. The theatrical release is highly anticipated, promising to deliver an engaging cinematic experience.
