The film “Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri,” featuring actors Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday, has not seen significant box office success since its release. According to reports, the film managed to earn just over ₹5 crore on its opening Saturday, December 25.
As for the overall box office performance, the film’s earnings on its first day were ₹7.75 crore, followed by ₹5.25 crore on the second day. By the end of its third day, it maintained a similar pace, bringing in an additional ₹5.25 crore, totaling approximately ₹18.25 crore nett in India so far. The occupancy rate for Hindi shows on Saturday stood at 19.43%.
Critics have been relatively lukewarm in their reviews of the film. One review from Hindustan Times highlighted weaknesses in the film’s music, indicating it fails to create the necessary momentum, thereby affecting the overall pace of the narrative. The piece described the film as visually appealing but ultimately lacking substance, leaving viewers wanting more from the story.
Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, “Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri” is a reunion for Aaryan and Panday, who previously collaborated on the 2019 film “Pati Patni Aur Woh.” The cast is further complemented by veteran actors Jackie Shroff and Neena Gupta in important roles.
Kartik Aaryan recently expressed his gratitude for being a part of the project, recognizing the thoughtful writing and direction behind the film. He emphasized the rarity of filmmakers who can deliver messages through romance without being overly preachy, appreciating the approach taken in this story.
