The film’s sluggish performance is compounded by the strong box office results of Dhurandhar and the Hollywood sensation Avatar: Fire and Ash.
Dhurandhar outperformed Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri on the same day, earning ₹12.17 crore, illustrating its robust appeal to audiences. With Dhurandhar securing the position of the top film currently, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri struggled to find its footing amid fierce competition.
The storyline centers on Ray, portrayed by Kartik Aaryan, and Rumi, played by Ananya Panday, who fall in love during a trip to Croatia. Their relationship, however, is complicated by Rumi’s obligation to care for her elderly father, played by Jackie Shroff, in Agra. The film explores themes of love and familial duty, showcasing their journey as a couple.
