Kangana Ranaut is making headlines as she balances her political aspirations with a return to acting. The multi-talented artist has resumed filming for her upcoming project, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, despite her packed schedule.
On Monday, Kangana provided an update to her fans through Instagram by sharing a video from her production house, Manikarnika Films Production. The footage captures her arrival on set and a collaborative moment with director Manoj Tapadia, where they discuss the script and overall production plans before shooting begins.
In her Instagram Stories, Kangana expressed her excitement, stating, “Nice to be back on film set.” The video features her in a light-colored suit, engaged in a lively discussion with the director while holding important documents.
While details about Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata remain scarce, initial announcements in 2024 indicated that Kangana will play a pivotal role. The film aims to portray the inspiring stories of everyday individuals and their exceptional accomplishments.
Kangana’s recent work includes Emergency, a film she both directed and co-produced. In this political drama, she portrays former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi during the tumultuous period of Emergency between 1975 and 1977. Although the film garnered attention, it did not perform well at the box office and featured notable actors like Anupam Kher and Milind Soman.
In addition to her work in India, Kangana is set to expand her horizons into Hollywood. She has signed on for a horror film titled Blessed Be the Evil, marking her international debut. This project, produced by Lions Movies, will also star Tyler Posey and Scarlet Rose Stallone. Directed by Anurag Rudra, the film’s plot revolves around a Christian couple dealing with the aftermath of a miscarriage as they confront a sinister presence in their new home. It is expected to be showcased to international buyers at the upcoming Cannes Film Market.
