Samantha Ruth Prabhu Embraces New Beginnings This Makar Sankranti

Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently celebrated Makar Sankranti in a special way, marking the occasion for the first time with her husband, producer Raj Nidimoru. She shared a playful selfie with him, highlighting the festive spirit of the day.

On Thursday, Samantha took to her Instagram Stories to give fans a glimpse of their celebration. In a cute selfie, they are seen posing in traditional red outfits, with Samantha making a goofy face and Raj smiling beside her. Captured in a car, the couple’s attire and expressions conveyed the cheerful Sankranthi vibes.

Makar Sankranti, also referred to as Uttarayana, is a significant Hindu festival celebrated across India and Nepal. It represents the Sun’s transition into Capricorn and symbolizes new beginnings, hope, and prosperity.

Recently, Samantha and Raj were seen arriving at Hyderabad airport, capturing attention on social media. Videos from their outing showcased Samantha’s stylish look, accentuated by her mangalsutra, which became a focal point of admiration among fans.

The couple tied the knot on December 1 of the previous year in Coimbatore during a serene, yogic wedding ceremony. Their nuptials were a surprise to fans, who were thrilled upon seeing the pictures that Samantha shared. After their wedding, they took a romantic getaway to Lisbon, Portugal.

Samantha had previously collaborated with Raj & DK on the web series “The Family Man 2” and “Citadel: Honey Bunny” in 2023. After her divorce from Naga Chaitanya in 2021, both Samantha and Raj kept their relationship private for a period. Speculation about their romance grew when they were frequently spotted together, which they eventually confirmed following their marriage.

Currently, Samantha is working alongside Raj & DK on their upcoming project titled “Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom.
