Samantha Ruth Prabhu celebrated this year’s Makar Sankranti in a special way, marking her first celebration of the festival with her husband, producer Raj Nidimoru. She shared a fun selfie on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of their time together.

In the cheerful selfie, the couple posed in a car, both dressed in red traditional attire, embodying the festive spirit. Samantha, making a playful face, captured the essence of the celebration with her caption, “Sankranthi vibes.” Raj, seen smiling alongside her, added to the joyful atmosphere of the photo.

Makar Sankranti, known by various names such as Uttarayana and Makara, is a significant Hindu festival celebrated across India and Nepal. The festival symbolizes the Sun’s transition into Capricorn and represents new beginnings, hope, and prosperity.

Recently, the couple was spotted at Hyderabad airport, and videos from the outing garnered attention on social media. Fans admired Samantha’s style, particularly highlighting her mangalsutra, which became a focal point of discussion.

Samantha and Raj’s wedding took many by surprise when she shared photos of their ceremony on December 1 last year. The intimate wedding took place in Coimbatore, incorporating yogic traditions. Following their nuptials, the couple enjoyed a getaway to Lisbon, Portugal.

Samantha previously collaborated with Raj and DK on the 2021 web series “The Family Man 2” and their latest project, “Citadel: Honey Bunny.” After her separation from Naga Chaitanya in 2021, Samantha and Raj began sparking romance rumors in 2024, frequently spotted together at various events before officially confirming their relationship through their wedding.

On the professional front, Samantha is presently engaged in a new project with Raj and DK titled “Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom,” continuing her fruitful partnership with the duo.
