Varun Dhawan Celebrates Fan Support Following Border 2 Success Amid Trolls

Actor Varun Dhawan is celebrating the success of his latest film, Border 2, which has been performing exceptionally well at the box office. He took to Instagram to share his excitement, alongside a recent experience of facing online trolling.

In an Instagram Story, Varun posted a photograph of himself waving the National Flag from his car, surrounded by enthusiastic fans. Along with the picture, he captioned, “Border 2 🇮🇳. Love will always triumph over hate. Thank you 🙏.”

Varun recently addressed the trolling he received concerning his smile after the release of the song “Ghar Kab Aaoge” from Border 2. During the launch event for the film’s tribute trailer, he commented on dealing with negativity, stating, “I believe that you shut down the noise and just let your work do the talking. These things keep happening, and it doesn’t really matter. I’m working for something you will see this Friday.”

The actor underscored the significance of creating a quality film, emphasizing his faith in the project. “I believe in the film. It’s very important to make a good film. I’m not concerned with numbers; I believe we made a good film. When people go to theaters, they forget everything. They just want to be entertained. Nothing else matters,” he explained.

Border 2 features Varun in the role of Major Hoshiyar Singh Dahiya. Directed by Anurag Singh, this film is a sequel to the iconic 1997 film Border. Alongside Varun, the cast includes Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, Medha Rana, and Mona Singh. Set against the backdrop of the India-Pakistan war of 1971, Border 2 hit theaters on January 23.
