Heidi Klum’s 2026 Grammys Dress Sparks Legal Controversy

Actor and racer Ajith Kumar’s film “Mankatha” made a comeback to theatres this past Friday, marking a significant moment post-Pongal celebrations. However, the re-release has been marred by controversies surrounding fan behavior, including an altercation involving an admirer of another actor. This incident saw some Ajith fans reportedly attacking a Vijay supporter, leading to condemnation from theatre management.

The management at Pandian Cinemas in Karaikudi addressed the disruptive behavior via social media, stating that the screen was damaged during the celebrations. In a public statement, they expressed their concern over the unacceptable actions that resulted in significant financial loss and inconvenience for other moviegoers. They firmly reiterated that while celebrations are welcome, harming theatre property would not be tolerated.

In light of the damage, the theatre announced a policy change regarding future screenings. Fans will no longer have the opportunity to request mashups or replays of scenes, emphasizing that respect for the venue is crucial for continued enjoyment of cinematic experiences.

Additionally, Ajith’s fans faced criticism for setting off fireworks inside the Vidya Theatre in Chennai during a screening. A video surfaced on X (formerly Twitter) showcasing the chaos as fireworks were ignited while the iconic “Vilayadu Mankatha” played. The theatre owner publicly condemned this behavior, indicating that such actions may lead to them discontinuing future re-releases.

The incident prompted discussions on safety and the impact of unruly behaviors during screenings. One user highlighted the risks posed to audiences, reinforcing the need for theatre owners to take a stand against such acts.

Having recently pursued his racing career after starring in films like “Good Bad Ugly” and “Vidaamuyarchi,” Ajith has not yet revealed his upcoming projects. The recent events surrounding the “Mankatha” re-release have sparked dialogue within the community about fan conduct and responsibilities in creating a safe viewing atmosphere.
