Eesha Rebba Takes Legal Action Against Online Harassment on Instagram

Actor Eesha Rebba has formally reported an incident of harassment to the police, focusing on troubling behavior she experienced during a film’s promotional activities. The complaint was lodged at the Banjara Hills Police Station, with details emerging from a recent statement by the news agency ANI.

In her report, Rebba highlighted severe online harassment that involved a vulgar and defamatory comment made by an individual on a public social media platform. This incident, attributed to a meme or social media account, has raised significant concerns regarding the impact of online abuse, especially towards women in the entertainment industry.

The police department indicated that such comments not only violate her dignity but also contribute to considerable emotional distress and public humiliation. The ongoing investigation aims to address these serious allegations, as the situation has caused Rebba notable mental anguish and anxiety.

While the inquiry is in progress, Eesha Rebba has not yet released an official statement regarding the incident on her social media accounts. She is known for her role in the recently released Telugu film, “Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi.” This film is an official remake of the acclaimed Malayalam movie “Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey,” featuring actors Darshana Rajendran and Basil Joseph in the leading roles, alongside Tharun Bhascker. Directed by A R Sajeev, the film has garnered attention, showcasing Rebba’s talent and dedication to her craft.
