Priyanka Chopra’s Exciting Return to Don 3 and Krrish 4 Confirmed

Priyanka Chopra is making her highly anticipated return to Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli’s film “Varanasi,” marking her first project in nearly six years. In a recent interview, she hinted at possible developments related to her iconic roles in the “Don” and “Krrish” franchises, sparking renewed interest among fans.

Chopra’s involvement in Farhan Akhtar’s “Don” series, where she starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan, helped the franchise achieve cult status. Although “Don 3” had initially been announced with Ranveer Singh as the lead, the project faced setbacks after Singh’s departure, leading to speculation that it might be on hold. Additionally, there are rumors surrounding her potential return in “Krrish 4,” following reports that Hrithik Roshan may step in to direct the film.

In her discussion with Screenrant, Chopra addressed the speculation, remarking, “I don’t know if I can talk about either of them at all,” to which co-star Mahesh Babu humorously responded, “Then there’s something happening.” She expressed excitement about her return to Indian cinema with “Varanasi,” emphasizing her willingness to revisit roles and franchises if they promise compelling storytelling.

The buzz around “Krrish 4” intensified last year when it was reported that Hrithik Roshan would take over directorial duties from his father, Rakesh Roshan, with Chopra expected to play a significant role. Their occasional togetherness in the United States with Chopra’s husband, Nick Jonas, further fueled speculations, but no official confirmation regarding the project has been announced as of yet.

Regarding “Varanasi,” the filmmakers recently released an impressive teaser that gives a glimpse of Mahesh Babu as Rudhra, armed with a trishul and riding a bull. Priyanka Chopra plays the character of Mandakini, while Prithviraj Sukumaran portrays the antagonist Kumbha.

The film revolves around Rudhra’s quest to recover a powerful cosmic artefact linked to ancient mythology, embarking on a thrilling time-travel adventure that spans across continents and eras. “Varanasi” promises a blend of Indian mythology and dynamic action, setting the stage for a battle between the forces of good and evil. Fans eagerly await more details as Chopra steps back into the spotlight, reigniting excitement for her return to the silver screen.
