Dr Sreeleela Shares Untold Stories and Unseen Photos with Classmates

Actor Sreeleela has recently added another title to her name: Dr. Sreeleela. She has officially completed her medical degree at DY Patil University in Mumbai, balancing her studies with a flourishing acting career. The announcement came through her Instagram, where she celebrated her convocation alongside family and friends.

During the ceremony, Sreeleela donned her graduation robe and shared various moments from her journey, including touching photos with family and a nostalgic group picture with classmates from her college days. In her accompanying post, she expressed deep gratitude to those who supported her throughout her medical education.

In her heartfelt message, Sreeleela reflected on her journey, stating, “A milestone. A journey—one that you were a part of, knowingly or unknowingly.” She described her time in medical school as a “sacred space” that allowed her to be herself while managing the dual responsibilities of studying and acting.

Continuing her note, she emphasized that her achievement was more than just earning a degree; it represented personal growth and resilience. She thanked her family, friends, and colleagues for their unwavering support, particularly for accommodating her exam schedules amidst her busy acting commitments.

A special mention was made to her fans, whom she appreciated for their encouragement and support during her time at university. “This chapter shaped me. It humbled me. It strengthened me,” she concluded, proudly reintroducing herself as Dr. Sreeleela.

Sreeleela, born in 2001 to a Telugu family in Detroit and raised in Bengaluru, began her acting journey in 2017 with the Telugu film Chitrangada. However, it was her leading role in the 2019 Kannada film Kiss that marked her breakout moment.

Her entry into the Telugu film industry came in 2021 with Pelli SandaD, and since then, she has enjoyed a successful career, starring in projects like Dhamaka, Bhagavanth Kesari, and Guntur Kaaram, acting alongside prominent stars such as Ravi Teja and Mahesh Babu. Additionally, she appeared in the special number “Kissik” from the highly anticipated film Pushpa 2: The Rule.

As of 2025, Sreeleela has several projects lined up, including Robinhood, Junior, and Mass Jathara. Fans recently saw her in Parasakthi, sharing the screen with Sivakarthikeyan and Ravi Mohan. Looking ahead, she is set to feature in a musical romance with Kartik Aaryan and will also star in Dhanush’s upcoming film alongside Sai Pallavi. Her future films also include Ustaad Bhagat Singh, where she will act with Pawan Kalyan.
