Fast forward 21 years, and Tahlak is eagerly anticipating a similar level of excitement surrounding Filipina tennis star Alexandra Eala, who is set to make her debut in this prestigious tournament.
Eala arrives in Dubai on the heels of an impressive quarterfinal performance at the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open. The 20-year-old player is scheduled to open her campaign against American Lukcy Loser Hailey Baptiste. Recognizing her popularity, the organizers have allocated her a prime time slot at 7 pm UAE Time on Sunday, ensuring that her match will attract a substantial crowd.
