Rashmika Mandanna’s Adorable Reaction to Vijay Deverakonda’s Call

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are preparing for their wedding on February 26, marking a significant moment in their relationship. The couple, who has kept their romance largely private despite ongoing support for each other’s careers, has been dating for a while.

Their relationship gained attention during a promotional event for the film “Animal” in 2023. During the event, co-star Ranbir Kapoor encouraged Rashmika to call Vijay on stage. Once connected, Vijay responded with a casual “What’s up, re?”, which made Rashmika blush and appear flustered. The cute exchange didn’t go unnoticed, as even Ranbir found it amusing.

Vijay and Rashmika’s journey began with their collaboration in the 2018 film “Geetha Govindam” and continued with “Dear Comrade” in 2019. Before their relationship blossomed, Rashmika was once engaged to her co-star Rakshit Shetty, though they called off their engagement in 2018. Vijay also faced rumors about a relationship with a Belgian national, but that bond did not last.

Speculation about their romance grew in 2022, yet the couple chose not to publicly address it. In October 2025, they celebrated an intimate engagement ceremony in Hyderabad, attended by close friends and family. Their recent announcement confirmed their marriage, bringing excitement among fans.

In a heartfelt note shared with their followers, they expressed gratitude for the love and support they have received. The message highlighted the significance of their fans, referring to them as “Virosh” and indicating that the bond they share is built on love. The couple concluded their message with warm sentiments, promising that their fans will always be a part of their journey.
