Kajol Celebrates 27 Years of Marriage with Ajay Devgn in Heartwarming Post

Kajol and Ajay Devgn are marking their 27th wedding anniversary today, February 24. The couple, who wed in 1999, celebrated this special day with a heartfelt post on social media, sharing a charming photo alongside a humorous caption.

In the Instagram picture, Kajol is seen beaming at Ajay, dressed elegantly in a sari, while Ajay looks sharp in a deep blue suit. She humorously remarked in her caption, “In a rare moment of understanding we both agree that we both deserve a medal and a trophy!”

Ajay and Kajol’s love story began on the sets of the film “Ishq” in 1997. However, their on-screen collaboration dates back further, having previously worked together in the action films “Gundaraj” and “Hulchul” released in 1995. They reunited for the romantic comedy “Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha” in 1998 and tied the knot nearly four years later, with a private ceremony that kept the media at bay.

Following their marriage, they collaborated again in the 2000 action comedy “Raju Chacha,” after which Kajol took a brief hiatus from acting. The couple welcomed their daughter Nysa in 2003 and their son Yug in 2010. Their shared passion for film also saw them work together in Ajay’s directorial debut “U Me Aur Hum” in 2008, as well as in the historical drama “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior” in 2020.

In a recent interview, Kajol shared insights into their contrasting personalities, noting that while Ajay tends to be more reserved, she enjoys engaging in lively conversations. Discussing the key to their successful marriage, she humorously stated, “Oh, I say that quite often that the secret to a happy marriage is partial deafness and selective amnesia.”

This lighthearted exchange further highlights the essence of their long-standing relationship, celebrating both their love and playful banter.
