Tickets for the ICC T20 Men’s World Cup 2026 semi-finals and finals have officially gone on sale, creating a buzz among cricket fans eager to secure their seats. The demand is high, with some categories already sold out shortly after the sale began at 7pm IST.
The semi-finals are set for March 4 and 5, culminating in the final on March 8. As the Super Eight competition progresses, teams are battling for the coveted top four positions.
Currently, in Group 1, West Indies and South Africa lead the points tally, having achieved notable victories over Zimbabwe and India, respectively. In Group 2, England is in the top spot following their win against Sri Lanka, while New Zealand and Pakistan’s match ended in a stalemate due to rain.
Tickets for the final, hosted at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, are selling fast, with prices ranging from Rs2,000 to Rs60,000 based on seating categories. For the first semi-final on March 4, tickets are priced at 1,500 Sri Lankan rupees for the Block D, Lower level area at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Some categories are already marked as unavailable, although it is unclear if they are sold out or not yet released.
Additionally, the ticket prices at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens for the inaugural semi-final range between Rs900 and Rs3,000, depending on the seating section. The final venue will depend on which teams progress.
For the second semi-final on March 5 at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, tickets are expected to be available soon, with prices beginning at Rs3,000.
The ICC has implemented a unique “floating venues” concept for the first semi-final. Depending on the outcomes from the ongoing Super 8 matches, the hosting venue may vary between Colombo’s R Premadasa Stadium and Kolkata’s Eden Gardens.
If Pakistan qualifies for the semi-finals, they will play in Colombo. Should Pakistan not qualify but Sri Lanka advances, and faces any team other than India, the match will still take place in Colombo. However, if neither scenario occurs, and India is set to compete against Sri Lanka, the first semi-final will be held in Kolkata.
In the event that Pakistan reaches the final, it will occur in Colombo; otherwise, it will take place in Ahmedabad. Fans can rest assured that if they purchase tickets for a venue that does not ultimately host either semi-final or the final, those tickets will be refunded.
