Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s Wedding to Feature Heightened Security Measures

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are making headlines as their wedding festivities commence in Udaipur. The couple is slated to marry on February 26, 2026, marking a significant event in the Tollywood film industry. Recently, Rashmika shared the exciting news of their impending nuptials, quelling any ongoing speculation regarding their relationship.

Preparations for the wedding include heightened security measures. Sources reveal that the couple declined a lucrative offer from Netflix for exclusive streaming rights to their wedding, opting instead for a more private celebration. The couple had secretly become engaged in October 2025, and now, as their wedding date approaches, security teams have undergone extensive training to ensure the event’s safety.

Significantly, the wedding functions, including the mehendi and sangeet, are scheduled for February 25, 2026. The Haldi ceremony is planned to take place at a local hotel’s courtyard, while the official wedding ceremony will be held the following day. Prior to these events, the couple was spotted enjoying a pool party and a themed dinner in celebratory spirits.

On February 22, Rashmika took to Instagram to formally announce their wedding, dedicating the event to their fans who affectionately dubbed them “VIROSH.” The actress expressed gratitude for the support they have received and shared the significance of the name given to them by their admirers.

The romantic journey of Rashmika and Vijay began in 2018, following Rashmika’s previous engagement with actor Rakshit Shetty, which ended in September 2018. Their relationship blossomed amid the backdrop of their professional collaborations, including films like “Geetha Govindam” and “Dear Comrade.” They are also scheduled to appear together in the upcoming film “Ranabaali.”

As the couple gears up for their wedding after a seven-year romance, they are taking a brief break from their professional commitments. Reports suggest that their celebrations will be low-key, with no official invitations sent to industry colleagues for the ceremony. However, they plan to host grand receptions for friends and associates in Hyderabad and Mumbai post-wedding.

The focus on security at Rashmika and Vijay’s wedding underscores the couple’s desire for a private yet safe celebration. As fans eagerly anticipate more details, the excitement surrounding “VIROSH” continues to grow. What do you think about the couple’s wedding arrangements? Share your thoughts below.
