Veteran actor Govind Namdev has praised superstar Shah Rukh Khan for his exceptional work ethic, particularly in light of his ongoing health issues. During a recent interview, Namdev reflected on their collaboration in the 2000 film “Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani,” expressing admiration for Shah Rukh’s unwavering dedication to his craft.

Namdev detailed Shah Rukh’s rigorous daily routine, noting that the actor often works around the clock. He remarked, “There is only one man who works 24 hours a day. He sleeps barely three to four hours and still manages to fit in workouts, event inaugurations, learning dialogues, and travelling for performances. I was stunned, what kind of person is he?” This insight highlights the considerable effort and discipline that Shah Rukh maintains throughout his day.

The actor further elaborated on the health challenges Shah Rukh faces, particularly regarding his spine. Namdev mentioned, “He has serious back problems and several other health concerns. But watching him, even we learned something. He never lets it show.” This perseverance not only showcases Shah Rukh’s resilience but also serves as an inspiration to those around him.

Shah Rukh Khan has previously discussed his intense commitment to work. In an interview, he explained his need to remain engaged with his projects as long breaks negatively impact his mental state. He stated that he “can’t sit at home” and prefers to take on various projects to remain creatively stimulated. This mindset is indicative of his dedication and has significantly contributed to his impressive three-decade-long career in the film industry.

Looking ahead, Shah Rukh Khan is set to star in his upcoming film “King,” directed by Siddharth Anand. The movie features his daughter, Suhana Khan, alongside notable stars such as Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, “King” is anticipated to hit theaters on December 24, 2026. With Shah Rukh’s legacy and continuous effort, this film is already garnering significant attention.
