Sriman Backs Vijay, Responds to Affair Allegations and Supports Theory

Actor Vijay’s wife, Sangeeta Sornalingam, has filed for divorce in a Chennai court, naming her husband in her petition. She alleges infidelity involving an unnamed actress, which has sparked considerable media attention.

The divorce news gained traction when Vijay and actress Trisha Krishnan attended a wedding together in Chennai, raising eyebrows and fueling rumors of their relationship. In response to public speculation, friend and fellow actor Sriman defended Vijay, emphasizing the nature of their friendship amidst the backlash.

Many social media users criticized Vijay, suggesting he was in a romantic relationship with Trisha. Amidst this, Sriman took to X (formerly Twitter) to support his friend. He acknowledged a user’s comment implying that Vijay and Trisha could simply be friends, responding with a clapping emoji to show agreement.

In an effort to illustrate Vijay’s character, Sriman shared anecdotes from their time together, including a story involving a jet ski during a film shoot. He recounted how Vijay prioritized safety by insisting he wear a life jacket, which he noted was not well-received by others on set.

Sriman amplified his defense by addressing negative remarks directed at Vijay online. When confronted with a critical comment questioning Vijay’s character, he countered the sentiment by suggesting that individuals should respect each other’s privacy. His replies emphasized that personal relationships should not be judged by outsiders.

Furthermore, Sriman responded to claims about guiding Vijay toward better choices by labeling the commenter as “fake,” advocating for accountability by urging them to reveal their identity for meaningful dialogue. He maintained a stance of respect for Vijay’s private life, stating that such issues should be resolved in court, as they pertain to personal matters.

For context, Sriman has frequently collaborated with Vijay on numerous films, including classics such as “Love Today,” “Friends,” and more recent projects like “Varisu.” His vocal support reflects a commitment to the long-standing friendship the two share in the industry.
