Rajat Dalal Provides Health Update Following Surgery for Tendon Injury

Rajat Dalal, known for his role in Bigg Boss 18 and as a fitness influencer, has made headlines after facing a serious injury during a recent filming of The 50. The incident occurred during the very first task of the show, leading to a tendon tear in his hand. Following the injury’s progression, Rajat underwent surgery and has since provided fans with a health update.

On his Instagram, Rajat posted a photo of himself resting in a hospital bed with his hand in a cast. In his caption, he reflected on resilience, stating, “Gir girke hi insaan uthna seekhta hai!” which translates to, “A person learns to stand after falling multiple times.” He also included images of his medical reports, which confirmed that while he suffered a tendon tear, there were no fractures.

Describing the nature of his injury, Rajat explained that he sustained a severe tendon tear measuring 2.8 cm on the first day of filming. The tear worsened to 3 cm during a subsequent task. Despite the severity of the injury, he prioritized the show’s commitment and opted to complete filming before scheduling his surgery. He expressed relief that the procedure was successful, stating, “Aaj wo surgery hui hai aur achi hui hai. Baaki sab badia hai,” meaning, “Today the surgery happened and it went well. Everything is fine now.” His co-stars, including Arbaz Patel, along with numerous fans, have extended their wishes for a swift recovery.

The 50, which began airing on February 1, features 50 celebrities cohabiting in a palace as they compete in various tasks to secure their place in the show. The dynamics of alliances shifted recently, with several participants, including Nehal Chudasama and Arushi, defecting from Prince’s group to align with Rajat Dalal and Faisu. Rajat’s strategic gameplay has already led to the eviction of four contestants from Prince’s alliance, heightening the competitive atmosphere of the show. With the filming concluded, contestants are now back at home and await the unfolding of the season.
