India Triumphs Over England by 7 Runs to Reach T20 World Cup Final

Actor Priyanka Chopra has been announced as one of the presenters for the upcoming 98th Academy Awards, reinforcing her prominent presence in the film industry. The Academy revealed the names of several stars who will participate in the ceremony, which is set to take place on March 15, 2026. Priyanka will share the stage with esteemed colleagues including Robert Downey Jr. and Anne Hathaway.

In an Instagram post, Priyanka expressed her excitement for the event, stating, “The 2026 Academy Awards.” This will not be her first time presenting at the Oscars, as she previously had the honor during the 2016 ceremony. Additionally, she joined fellow Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who presented an award at the 2023 ceremony, marking a significant moment for Indian cinema, especially following the success of RRR, which won the Oscar for Best Original Song.

The list of presenters this year features an array of renowned actors. Along with Priyanka, Robert Downey Jr. and Anne Hathaway, the lineup includes Will Arnett, Paul Mescal, and Gwyneth Paltrow. Earlier announcements included other notable names such as Adrien Brody, Javier Bardem, Kieran Culkin, and Zoe Saldaña, creating a diverse group of presenters for this prestigious ceremony.

In addition to the excitement surrounding the presenters, the Oscars this year is highlighted by the remarkable achievements of the film “Sinners,” directed by Ryan Coogler. This film has made history by earning 16 nominations, the highest number ever awarded to a film at the Academy Awards. It surpasses the previous record held by classic films such as “All About Eve” and “Titanic.” Other contenders for recognition include “Hamnet,” “Sentimental Value,” “One Battle After Another,” and “Frankenstein.”

The awards ceremony will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Ovation Hollywood, continuing the time-honored tradition of celebrating cinematic excellence. Priyanka Chopra’s recent work includes her role in the action-thriller “The Bluff,” now available on Amazon Prime Video. Looking ahead, she will appear in “Varanasi,” directed by SS Rajamouli, alongside notable actors Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. This film is set for release on April 7, 2027, marking her entry into Telugu cinema.

Additionally, Priyanka is confirmed to be part of the second season of the popular web series “Citadel,” further showcasing her versatility and continued prominence in the entertainment industry. Fans eagerly await her upcoming projects, which highlight her expanding repertoire and dedication to her craft.
