Dak Prescott Faces New Sexual Assault Allegations During Fiancée Split

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and his fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, were once seen as one of the most beloved couples in the NFL scene. Their relationship was characterized by public displays of affection and social media moments that delighted fans. However, recent news has emerged that the couple has ended their engagement just one month before their planned wedding in Italy. This development raises questions about the circumstances surrounding their split, particularly as controversy from Dak’s past has resurfaced.

Victoria Shores has made serious allegations against Dak Prescott, claiming he sexually assaulted her in February 2017. According to Shores, the incident occurred in the back of an SUV parked outside a Dallas strip club and involved Dak exposing himself before the assault took place. Despite her clear objections to engaging in sexual activity, she claims that the assault occurred once other passengers had exited the vehicle. Although she initially sought to handle the situation outside of court, she later chose to pursue legal action.

In January 2024, Shores’ legal team issued a demand letter to Prescott’s representatives, seeking $100 million to halt the pursuit of criminal charges and maintain confidentiality. Shores cited “unimaginable” mental distress resulting from the alleged incident as the reason for the exorbitant demand. When Prescott refused to comply, Shores escalated the matter to the Dallas police, prompting an investigation into the claims against him.

In response to the allegations, Dak Prescott has strongly denied any wrongdoing, calling the accusations a “fabricated” attempt at extortion. He filed a counter civil lawsuit against Shores and her attorneys in March 2024, revealing the existence of the $100 million demand. Through his attorney Levi McCathern, Prescott stated unequivocally that he has “never engaged in any non-consensual sexual conduct.” While acknowledging a consensual interaction with Shores in 2017, his defense maintains that her subsequent behavior corresponds with that of a consensual relationship.

Ultimately, the Dallas Police Department ceased its investigation into the allegations in May 2024, determining that there was insufficient evidence to support the claims of assault. In June 2024, a judge dismissed Shores’ civil lawsuit, declaring the allegations to be unfounded and lacking merit. Following this dismissal, the court considered sanctions against Shores and her lawyers for filing what was deemed to be a frivolous lawsuit.

After the case was closed, Prescott initiated an extortion lawsuit against Shores, stating that any financial recovery from that suit would benefit charities aiding legitimate survivors of sexual assault. This controversy has drawn renewed scrutiny, particularly in light of the recent breakup between Prescott and Ramos, which reportedly stemmed from an altercation during a joint bachelor and bachelorette party in the Bahamas.

Sources indicate that the couple’s relationship has become irreparable following this incident. While neither party has publicly addressed the split, they have removed recent posts that highlighted their wedding preparations from their social media accounts. Speculation suggests that disagreements over a prenuptial agreement may have fueled tensions leading up to their separation. Moving forward, Dak and Sarah are expected to focus on co-parenting their two young daughters.

As the fallout continues from both Dak Prescott’s past controversies and his recent breakup, many are left to ponder the implications and future for both him and his family.
