Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-anticipated film, Love & War, has generated significant excitement ahead of its release later this year. Featuring a stellar cast that includes Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, the team is proactive in safeguarding the film’s secrets during production.
According to an insider, the production crew is implementing strict measures to prevent any potential leaks. Over 500 Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) have been signed by crew members, ensuring that no information or material from the set reaches the public. This level of confidentiality underscores the filmmakers’ commitment to preserving the film’s intrigue.
Alia Bhatt recently offered glimpses into the project during a Vogue Italia video prior to her appearance at Milan Fashion Week. She expressed her excitement about working with Bhansali, describing it as a “magical experience.” This film marks her second collaboration with the renowned director, following her acclaimed performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi, for which she received a National Award for Best Actress.
Initial leaks had suggested that Love & War is set in the 1960s, with behind-the-scenes images of the lead actors circulating online. However, details about the film’s plot have been kept tightly under wraps.
Originally scheduled for a Christmas 2025 release, the film’s premiere date was moved to March 20, 2026, before being pushed to 2027. Despite the uncertainty surrounding the exact release schedule, it’s reported that production is progressing well, with most major sequences completed. While there is no official release date, plans remain in place for a 2026 launch.
