Kohli’s Vintage Form and Rising Star Sooryavanshi Shine in New IPL Season

Nora Fatehi is making headlines again with her latest appearance in the song “Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke,” featured in the upcoming pan-India film KD. This Hindi track showcases her dancing alongside Sanjay Dutt, but the release has sparked mixed reactions, particularly concerning the song’s provocative lyrics and suggestive choreography.

The music video for “Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke” transports viewers to a dance bar where Nora performs with numerous backup dancers. Clad in a revealing ghaghra choli, she executes dance moves that have drawn attention—especially a hookstep that involves her suggestively dropping and picking up her pallu.

Upon the release of the lyrical video, criticism intensified, shifting the focus from the dance to the song’s content. Initial verses contain explicit double entendres, initially hinting at sexual themes before revealing that the lyrics pertain to a drink rather than more risqué subjects. Sung by Mangli, with lyrics by Raqeeb Alam and music by Arjun Janya, the song has become a focal point of controversy.

Viewer reactions have been overwhelmingly negative. Comments on social media platforms highlight disappointment with the vulgarity of the lyrics and the choreography. One YouTube comment encapsulated the sentiment: “Ashleelta (vulgarity) on the top,” while others called the lyrics “cheap and vulgar.” The artistic direction has also faced scrutiny, with some viewers questioning the appropriateness of such content in contemporary cinema and calling for a ban on the song.

Sanjay Dutt’s presence in the music video has not gone unnoticed, as fans expressed surprise and concern regarding his involvement in a project criticized for its explicit content. The backlash has extended to the film’s director, Prem, with viewers expressing their discontent and even disassociating themselves from his work.

KD: The Devil is a 2026 Kannada-language action crime film centered around the character Kaali, a petty criminal entangled in the underworld during the 1970s. The film is set to hit theaters on April 30, and with its current controversies, it is sure to attract attention from audiences both for its storyline and its polarizing music video.
