Filmmaker Aditya Dhar is enjoying significant success with his latest release, “Dhurandhar The Revenge,” which has quickly become the second-highest-grossing Bollywood film in India. Prior to this achievement, he worked as an assistant director under the renowned Priyadarshan, who has spoken highly of Dhar’s talent and growth in the industry.

The director underlined that despite traditional constraints, it is the conviction of a filmmaker that ultimately determines a project’s success.
Aditya Dhar’s learning journey is noteworthy. Priyadarshan remarked that while he did not formally teach Dhar, the latter absorbed knowledge through experience. He praised Dhar for surpassing his own accomplishments, stating that their collaborative work led to the remarkable success of “Dhurandhar.” This testament to Dhar’s skills highlights the importance of self-directed learning in filmmaking.
Dhar launched his career in the industry as an assistant director for Priyadarshan on projects such as “Aakrosh” and “Tezz,” where he also contributed as a dialogue writer. Following the success of “Dhurandhar,” Priyadarshan expressed his pride in Dhar’s achievements, congratulating him on the film’s performance and extending best wishes for the anticipated sequel.
