Actor Ram Charan recently endured an injury while filming an action scene for the sports drama “Peddi.” Following a minor surgical procedure, he returned to the set, meeting with fans just ahead of his birthday, showcasing his resilience.

On set, Ram Charan appeared in his signature Ayyappa mala attire, with a bandage above his eye. Despite the injury, he displayed a positive demeanor, engaging with fans who cheered for him. A video shared by his team captured the moment, indicating his commitment to continuing work amid minor setbacks.

Fans expressed their enthusiasm online, with one sharing that meeting the star felt like a “dream completed.” The event featured a tent set up for fans, who were visibly excited to celebrate Ram’s upcoming 41st birthday on March 27. Footage revealed him acknowledging the crowd and heading inside to greet fans lined up to extend their birthday wishes.

The injury occurred during a shoot for “Peddi,” as confirmed by a source close to the actor. Reports clarified that he received four sutures but did not allow this incident to disrupt his filming schedule. While rumors circulated regarding the severity of the injury, it was confirmed that Ram’s eye was not seriously harmed.

The news was jolting for his cousin, Niharika Konidela, who was informed about the incident during a press conference. She expressed her shock and concern upon learning about his accident, indicating that she had not checked her phone while traveling.

Later, the production team released a statement confirming the injury as a “minor injury to the left eye.” Ram’s father, actor Chiranjeevi, expressed gratitude on social media for the timely surgery performed by Dr. Sudhakar Prasad. He praised the expert care that eased their worries, underscoring the importance of quick medical intervention in the wake of such incidents.
