Eugene Mirman Rescued From Fiery Car Crash: Latest On His Health

Eugene Mirman’s recent car accident has raised concerns among fans and internet users alike. The incident, which involved his vehicle catching fire after striking a toll booth, has generated significant media attention. Here’s the latest on Mirman’s condition following this alarming event.

Eugene Mirman, known for his voice role as ‘Gene Belcher’ on the animated show Bob’s Burgers, was involved in a serious car accident on March 31, 2026, in Bedford, New Hampshire. Reports indicate that he was alone in his electric vehicle when it collided with a toll booth at Everett Turnpike, causing it to burst into flames upon impact.

Fortunately, quick actions by a state trooper helped save Mirman from his burning car. The trooper, part of Governor Kelly Ayotte’s security detail, managed to pull him from the vehicle through a window engulfed in flames. Witnesses remarked on the urgency of the situation, noting the perilous nature of the rescue.

After the incident, Mirman was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries. Although initial assessments raised alarms about his condition, updates from his representative confirmed that he is now stable and recovering well. Mirman has expressed gratitude for the support he has received, while his family has requested privacy during his recovery process. Many have praised the trooper for his lifesaving efforts.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation. New Hampshire State Police reported that the crash occurred shortly before noon, but they have not yet determined whether factors such as speed or mechanical failure contributed to the incident. As such, no charges have been filed, and the toll plaza affected was temporarily closed for cleanup and repairs but has since reopened to the public.

Eugene Mirman is celebrated not only for his role on Bob’s Burgers, which has been on air since 2011, but also for his contributions to comedy and television more broadly. Originally from Moscow, he moved to the United States as a child and quickly made his mark in the New York comedy community. His unique comedic style and memorable voice have made him a standout figure in the industry. Aside from animation, Mirman has appeared in various live-action projects like Flight of the Conchords and Adult Swim’s Delocated.

As he continues to recover from this unfortunate incident, fans and supporters are wishing for Mirman’s swift return to health.
