Monsoon Mayhem: Kolkata vs Punjab Match Abandoned Due to Rain

Actor Rajpal Yadav has recently found himself in the spotlight due to legal issues stemming from a ₹9 crore debt and cheque bounce case. After spending time in Tihar Jail, he made an appearance at the Chetak Screen Awards, where a light-hearted jibe about his current situation was made. Despite the sensitive nature of the comment, Rajpal’s composed response earned him praise on social media. Notably, Bollywood star Salman Khan has publicly expressed his support for the actor.

Salman Khan took to X to share an encouraging message, acknowledging Rajpal’s extensive career in the industry. He stated, “Rajpal bhai aap 30 yrs se kaam kar rahe ho aur hum sabne aapko repeat kiya hai baar baar kyunki aap apna kaam jante ho aur ek value laate ho…” suggesting that Rajpal’s talent and hard work will continue to bring him opportunities regardless of monetary fluctuations.

In an additional message, Salman urged Rajpal to not let the pressures of the industry affect his mental well-being. He emphasized that despite the unpredictable nature of currency exchange rates, Rajpal’s worth remains constant and that he should focus on his craft wholeheartedly.

In response, Rajpal expressed gratitude for Salman’s recognition of his 30-year journey in the film industry. He referred to Salman as a guiding figure in his career, highlighting their supportive relationship.

During the awards show, Rajpal commented on the ongoing confusion surrounding currency fluctuations. This prompted the host to remind him of his financial obligations in a humorous manner. Rajpal’s ability to smile off the remark resonated with many, showcasing his resilience in handling adversity.

Earlier this year, Rajpal Yadav was incarcerated in relation to his financial disputes but was released on interim bail in mid-February. The Delhi High Court later confirmed that he would not return to custody despite the case developments.

Currently, Rajpal is focused on his upcoming film “Bhooth Bangla,” which features other well-known actors like Akshay Kumar and Tabu. The film is set to be released in theaters on April 17, with special previews the evening before.
