Priyanka Chopra’s Fun-Filled Pool Day with Bikinis and Family Moments

Actor Priyanka Chopra recently made headlines as she prepares for her Telugu film debut, Varanasi, directed by SS Rajamouli. While in Hyderabad, she enjoyed a leisurely Sunday with her husband, Nick Jonas, and their daughter, Malti Marie. Priyanka shared delightful moments from her day on Instagram, featuring a mix of family time and tasty snacks.

In her Instagram post, Priyanka captured the essence of her Sunday with the caption, “One of those rare times when a Sunday actually felt like a Sunday.” Photos included her lounging poolside in a robe and another where she sported a blue bikini, clearly embracing the relaxed atmosphere. Among her followers, notable personalities like Ekta Kapoor acknowledged the post, commenting, “Such a superstar.”

Additionally, Priyanka delighted her fans with a video where she enjoyed kachi keri, or raw mango, sprinkled with red chili powder. Comments from fans highlighted the festive spirit, with one remarking on the plate of mangoes by the pool. Another charming moment captured was Malti snuggling with her grandmother, Madhu Chopra, as well as a playful scene of her video-calling her father, Nick, from the United States. Among the photos, a whimsical shot featuring the phrase “behave like a man” on a chalkboard drew attention, hinting at the film set’s atmosphere.

Varanasi marks SS Rajamouli’s next project following the success of RRR in 2022. The film is set to release during Sankranthi 2027 and features a stellar cast, including Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Prakash Raj. Described as a ‘globetrotting adventure’ intertwined with Indian mythology, the film is co-written by Rajamouli’s father, V Vijayendra Prasad.

The production for Varanasi began early in 2025, although the official announcement came later in November of that year. A grand event in Hyderabad unveiled Mahesh Babu’s first look as Rudhra. In the film, Priyanka will portray the role of Mandakini, while Prithviraj takes on the character of Kumbha. This project signifies Priyanka’s notable return to Indian cinema after her appearance in Jai Gangaajal in 2016.

Beyond Varanasi, Priyanka has been active in various projects recently. In 2025, she starred in Heads of State and made a cameo in A Very Jonas Christmas Movie. She also served as an executive producer for the documentary The Cycle of Love released last year. Kicking off the current year, she took on the role of a pirate in The Bluff, which she also produced, while also gearing up for Season 2 of the Prime Video web series Citadel.
