In a conversation with Hauterrfly, she shared insights into her journey, particularly the strong support she received from her family during a challenging time.
Reflecting on her close bond with her brother, Hansika noted his unwavering support throughout her difficulties. “My brother and I are very close. He was rock solid,” she said. Both her mother and brother encouraged her to prioritize her well-being, expressing their concern as they witnessed her struggle during what she described as a “dark space.” They assured her that they would stand by her, whatever her decision might be.
Hansika also discussed her experience with therapy, emphasizing its positive impact on her mental health over the past two years. “I was in a very dark space and didn’t understand mental health,” she admitted, highlighting how a friend guided her towards seeking professional help. Therapy has been a transformative experience for her, enabling her to manage anxiety and improve her overall well-being.
To this day, she maintains that the specifics of her separation from her ex-husband remain private, and she harbors no regrets about her decision. Hansika mentioned she would not disclose further details as the past no longer holds significance for her.
Hansika and Sohael Khaturiya’s wedding took place in December 2022 at the lavish Mundota Fort and Palace in Jaipur. The event was featured in the Disney+ Hotstar series “Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama,” showcasing their nuptials to the audience.
Reports surfaced in early 2025 when Hansika removed wedding photos from her Instagram, sparking speculation about a potential separation. Despite various attempts by their families to reconcile the relationship, the couple ultimately chose to go their separate ways. Hansika’s lawyer affirmed that she sought a dignified end to her marriage without any claims for alimony, stating her focus was now on moving forward with her life and career.
