Bollywood actress Zareen Khan is experiencing profound grief following the recent passing of her mother, Parveen Khan. Her heartfelt tribute on social media reflects the deep bond they shared and the void left by her mother’s departure.
On Friday, Zareen shared a touching video on Instagram, showcasing cherished memories with her mother, including their travels and special moments together. Accompanying the montage, she expressed her sorrow with a poignant message that included a verse, stating, “إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ (Indeed, we belong to God, and indeed, to Him we shall return).” She described her mother as her “first love” and “best friend,” expressing how she has been struggling in the ten days since her loss.
In her tribute, Zareen conveyed an irreplaceable emptiness in her heart, wishing her mother to embrace love in the afterlife, while she awaits their reunion. Parveen Khan passed away on April 8, 2026, although the specific cause of her death has not been disclosed.
The actor received condolences from her colleagues in the industry, such as Tabu and Sangeeta Bijlani, who left supportive messages in the comments. Stay strong.” Another fan added, “This is really heartbreaking… I hope you stay strong.”
