Bollywood actress Zareen Khan is mourning the loss of her mother, Parveen Khan, who recently passed away, leaving her heartbroken. Just ten days after her mother’s death, Zareen took to social media to share an emotional tribute, expressing her love and gratitude while reflecting on her profound sense of loss.
On a recent Friday, Zareen shared a heartfelt video on Instagram, which included a montage of cherished memories with her mother. The compilation featured moments from their travels together, illustrating the strong bond they shared. In her touching note, Zareen quoted, “إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ” (Indeed, we belong to God, and indeed, to Him we shall return). She referred to her mother as her first love, best friend, and everything, emphasizing the deep emotional void her passing has created in her life.
In her message, Zareen acknowledged the constant ache in her heart, expressing that it is irreplaceable. She concluded with a poignant wish for her mother’s peace, saying, “Be the chhota baby you always were and enjoy your parents’ love in Jannat… until we meet again.” Parveen Khan passed away on April 8, 2026, but Zareen has kept the cause of her mother’s death private.
Zareen has received an outpouring of support from her colleagues and fans during this difficult period. Prominent figures in the industry, including Tabu and Sangeeta Bijlani, extended their condolences in the comments section. Fans also shared their sympathies, with one comment reading, “So sorry for your loss dear, nothing can replace a mother in this world. May her kind soul rest in peace. Zareen Khan rose to prominence after making her Bollywood debut alongside Salman Khan in the 2010 film “Veer,” which did not fare well commercially and led to comparisons with actress Katrina Kaif. She gained further recognition with her appearance in the popular song “Character Dheela” from the movie “Ready” in 2011. Over the years, she has appeared in various films, including “Housefull 2,” “Jatt James Bond,” “Hate Story 3,” “1921,” and “Aksar 2.”
Although Zareen has been absent from the big screen for some time, her last appearance was in the 2021 film “Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele,” released on JioHotstar.
