JasonTheWeen Under Fire for Insensitive Mockery of Sykkuno During Cheating Controversy

The Haryana State Commission for Women has summoned Haryanvi folk singer Masoom Sharma due to allegations of verbal abuse during a college event in Dehradun. This follows a police case that was registered concerning the incident that took place on April 10.

In light of the controversy, Masoom Sharma shared his perspective, stating that he and his family had experienced harassment from individuals claiming to be criminals. Sharma emphasized that the pressure and threats he received had significantly impacted his mental state, contributing to his outburst during the event.

He explained, “Some people who call themselves criminals have harassed me several times, and they are harassing my family. My uncle’s son called and threatened that they would kill me. The irritation grows under such stress, leading to aggressive remarks.” He expressed remorse for his comments and confirmed that he has responded to the Women’s Commission regarding the issue.

The complainant, Pranchal Nauni, alleged that Sharma’s remarks from the stage were deeply hurtful to both students and attendees of the event. This accusation has prompted legal action from authorities.
