Video: Blaze Erupts at Sharjah Warehouse, Nearby Facilities Evacuated

A fire erupted in a warehouse housing fruits and vegetables in Sharjah’s industrial area 15 on Sunday, but it was successfully contained by the emirate’s civil defense officials.

This incident was the second fire reported in Sharjah on the same day. The authorities took precautionary measures by evacuating nearby facilities. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries.

Firefighting teams from various stations were called to the location to manage the situation and prevent the flames from spreading to adjacent warehouses. The vicinity was secured to ensure safety.

In an official announcement, the Sharjah Civil Defense highlighted the necessity of following fire safety protocols and conducting routine inspections, particularly in industrial sectors.

The origin of the fire is still being investigated. Officials have reassured the community that all relevant safety precautions are being thoroughly implemented.
