Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max: Price, Launch Date, and Speculation in the UAE

As the anticipated launch of the iPhone 17 Pro Max approaches, Apple enthusiasts are eager to learn what this latest device will feature later this year.

Another product generating excitement is the iPhone Air, which is expected to be the slimmest phone Apple has ever produced.

Here’s what we currently know about the iPhone 17 Pro Max:

Expected Release Date

Multiple sources indicate that the iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to be unveiled between September 11 and 13.

Projected Pricing

According to previous reports, the iPhone 16 Pro Max was introduced at a price of Dh5,099 in the UAE. Although fans hope the new model will retain this price, speculation suggests a potential increase, possibly linked to the release of a rumored premium model, the iPhone 17 ‘Air’.

Recent updates indicate that the iPhone 17 Pro Max might be priced around Dh3,399.

Rumored Specifications

Apple seems poised to introduce significant changes with the iPhone 17 Pro series, with early reports hinting at a new design for the back casing. The company is said to be exploring a combination of glass and aluminum materials to enhance the phone’s durability.

Additionally, a revamped camera system is expected, with leaks suggesting a horizontal arrangement for the lenses, departing from the square bump of previous models. This may mean either a straight line of three lenses across the back or a broader, centered design that retains a triangular formation.

There are no indications of changes in size, as the dimensions of the new models are expected to remain at 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches for the Pro and Pro Max, respectively, following last year’s increase.

Internally, it is anticipated that the iPhone 17 Pro models will utilize the new A19 Pro chip, utilizing a cutting-edge 3-nanometer manufacturing process. This upgrade is expected to enhance performance and efficiency for Apple’s premium devices in 2025.
