The tallest building globally
In 2011, Dubai claimed the title for the tallest structure on the planet. The Burj Khalifa, a striking skyscraper located in the center of the city, reaches an extraordinary height of 828 meters. Its stunning architecture and contemporary design set a neo-futuristic image for the UAE. Comprising of 26,000 hand-cut glass panels, it stands at double the height of the Empire State Building.
The deepest swimming pool worldwide
Opened in 2021, the Deep Dive Dubai has quickly become a popular attraction. Featuring a depth of 60 meters and housing 14 million liters of water, this unique diving facility accommodates divers of all experience levels. Dubbed a ‘sunken city,’ it offers various amenities including games like snooker and foosball, and pays tribute to the UAE’s pearl diving legacy, being equivalent to six Olympic-sized pools.
The largest observation wheel in the world
Situated on Bluewaters Island, Ain Dubai began welcoming guests in October 2021. This massive observation wheel features 48 passenger cabins and provides 360-degree views of the skyline, creating a remarkable social experience. With a height of 250 meters, it stands as a prominent symbol of Dubai.
The biggest floral arrangement
Dubai takes pride in its intricate floral displays. The Emirates A380 structure at Dubai Miracle Garden is the world’s largest flower installation, artfully crafted to resemble a life-size airplane with moving engine fans and other features. Boasting over 50 million flowers and 250 million plants, this installation is made from recycled materials and is celebrated globally.
The largest tin of caviar
New Year’s celebrations in Dubai are famously extravagant. In 2017, the city unveiled a massive tin of caviar weighing approximately 50.08 kg, setting a world record for the largest caviar container, showcasing that Dubai knows how to celebrate in grand style.
The largest water fountain
The Palm Fountain on Palm Jumeirah boasts an impressive area of 7,327 square meters. This stunning structure opened in October 2020 and took the world record from the Dubai Mall’s fountain that previously held the title.
The world’s first and tallest 360-degree infinity pool
Known as Aura Skypool, this magnificent retreat is located on the 50th floor of The Palm Tower, offering guests panoramic views of Dubai’s iconic skyline, including landmarks like the Burj Khalifa and Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Equipped with custom-designed sunbeds and lounges, it is a perfect spot for relaxation or private events, suspended 200 meters above the ground in a truly unique setting.

The Gevora Hotel gained recognition from Guinness World Records in 2018 for being the tallest hotel in the world.
