A Packed Schedule of Events at the Dubai Trade Center in May

The Dubai World Trade Centre continues to strengthen Dubai’s global leadership through a diverse event agenda throughout May, hosting a series of international exhibitions and conferences across various sectors, including interior design, travel and hospitality, media and entertainment, payments, and eCommerce.

May features numerous events and conferences, including the Gulf Information Security Exhibition and Conference “GISEC Global,” the INDEX Dubai exhibition, and the Hotel Show. Additionally, leading conferences on the digital economy will take place, such as Seamless Middle East, alongside expert forums from various sectors, including the International Exhibition for Digital Media and Satellite Communications “CABSAT,” INTERGATE Middle East, and SatExpo.

The complete schedule for Dubai World Trade Centre in May includes the Airport Build and Supply Summit: May 6-8, marking the 24th edition of this event, which serves as a gathering point for global aviation leaders, regional decision-makers, and key suppliers and service providers in the sector.

The exhibition runs in tandem with the Global Airport Leaders’ Summit for three days, focusing on the latest technologies and trends driving airport development experiences, ranging from digital transformation and sustainability to urban air mobility and advanced security systems. In light of ambitious expansion plans pursued by regional and global airports, this event offers a critical platform for exploring innovative solutions and fostering effective communication among stakeholders in the aviation industry, shaping the future infrastructure of the sector.

The Seatrade Maritime and Logistics Exhibition takes place from May 6-8, serving as the main platform for networking and collaboration among maritime and logistics experts in the region. It offers an opportunity to explore the latest products and services that will shape the future of this sector.

First launched in 2008, this exhibition has become a pivotal event for the maritime industry, enabling shipbuilders, marine equipment manufacturers, maritime service providers, and logistics experts to engage directly with decision-makers and industry leaders through conferences and other interactive opportunities.

Key highlights of the exhibition include the presentation of several awards, such as the “Women in Maritime” Awards and the “#20under40” Awards, which aim to honor exceptional talents in this field.

GISEC Global

The Gulf Information Security Exhibition and Conference “GISEC Global” will be held from May 6-8, marking it as a premier cybersecurity event in the region, providing a unique platform for cybersecurity institutions to engage with leaders from the private sector and governmental agencies in the Gulf region. This year’s 14th iteration is themed “Ambitious Future: Cyber Resilience Driven by Artificial Intelligence,” leveraging the previous year’s success with three Guinness World Records achieved for cybersecurity and Internet of Things awareness initiatives. The Dubai Digital Gaming and Sports Festival and Game Expo will take place from May 7-11, serving as a prominent entertainment event in Dubai, offering an immersive experience for gaming enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. The festival features 12 interactive areas, including a player zone, a family zone from Emirates NBD, a classic gaming area from the Higher Colleges of Technology, and “The Narrows,” blending competitive gaming, pop culture, and family entertainment.

Global Police Summit

The Global Police Summit enters its fourth edition from May 13-15, serving as a global platform for law enforcement experts, policymakers, and technology leaders who contribute to shaping the future of policing. The summit’s theme is “Designing the Future of Policing” and is expected to attract over 17,000 visitors, more than 250 exhibitors, and over 200 global speakers, including police leaders from over 100 countries.

CABSAT

The International Exhibition for Digital Media and Satellite Communications “CABSAT” will occur from May 13-15, marking a significant event in the region for media, entertainment, and satellite technology. This year celebrates its 30th anniversary, representing the only specialist event focusing on the future of media and entertainment in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia. The exhibition is expected to attract over 18,800 media and entertainment professionals, including engineers, system integration experts, broadcast specialists, digital content creators, and content buyers, sellers, producers, and distributors.

This year’s CABSAT will unite industry leaders from more than 120 countries, featuring dedicated pavilions from China, France, and Germany showcasing a variety of media technology companies.

The INTERGATE Middle East Exhibition will run from May 13-15 alongside CABSAT, providing a platform for audiovisual technology experts to explore the latest innovations in immersive experiences, digital signage, smart classrooms, and command and control centers, merging entertainment and business applications across various sectors.

The SatExpo will also take place from May 13-15 concurrently with CABSAT, focusing on fostering investment, innovation, and global collaboration in space and satellite technology sectors. As the space economy expands across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, SatExpo connects stakeholders in satellite communications, broadcasting, and digital media to explore new partnership opportunities and advance technological progress.

The Dubai Baby Expo will be held from May 16-17, bringing together top brands, experts, and specialists in maternal and child care to provide a comprehensive guide for parenting. The exhibition features over 200 leading brands showcasing the latest products and supplies for children, nutrition, health, education, and maternal care, along with exclusive offers during the event, creating an exceptional opportunity for current and future parents to discover innovations in child care products and services.

Seamless Middle East

The Crypto Expo Dubai will occur from May 21-22, representing the largest cryptocurrency summit in Dubai, reinforcing the emirate’s position as a global center for digital assets and innovative blockchain technologies. This two-day event offers a key platform for investors, traders, and industry leaders to explore the latest developments in alternative currencies, blockchain, compliance mechanisms, and other related topics, featuring over 80 leading cryptocurrency brands revealing the latest digital currency products and investment opportunities.

The Amazon Web Services Summit in the Middle East launches on May 21, bringing together visionary thinkers on the future of cloud computing, technology leaders, and digital innovators for a day of discovery, innovation, and hands-on learning.

The summit aims to showcase the developmental potentials of cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and digital infrastructure, highlighting how Amazon Web Services’ technologies enable institutions across the Middle East and North Africa to expand smarter and innovate faster while building for the future.

INDEX Dubai will take place from May 27-29, having established itself over three decades as the leading event and platform for the interior design and fittings sector in the region. The exhibition brings together global manufacturing companies, regional suppliers, designers, and architects to explore the latest products, smart technologies, and cutting-edge designs that contribute to redefining spaces across the Middle East.

The Hotel Show

The Hotel Show will run from May 27-29, marking its 24th edition this year and reinforcing its status as the leading event in the hospitality sector across the Middle East and North Africa.

This exhibition presents an exceptional opportunity for hotel owners, managers, procurement officials, and designers to come together for three days of networking, exploring partnership and innovation opportunities. This year, the show will feature over 300 global brands showcasing the latest solutions and innovations related to food and beverage, interior design, wellness, and facilities management.
