Dubai Health Authority has entered into a strategic partnership with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment through Al Jalila Foundation, which spearheads its philanthropic efforts within the health system. This collaboration aims to support the “Nabd” campaign, focusing on providing comprehensive medical care for individuals with congenital heart defects and related conditions.
The agreement was signed during the closing session of the 21st Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development Conference (DIHAD 2025) held at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Its primary goal is to enhance the lives of patients by delivering healthcare services that adhere to global standards.
The agreement was executed by Dr. Amer Al Zarooni, Executive Director of Al Jalila Foundation, and Saleh Zahir Al Mazrouei, General Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment.
Dr. Amer Al Zarooni emphasized the significance of this strategic partnership, highlighting both organizations’ commitment to promoting humanitarian work and expanding healthcare coverage for deserving groups. Through the support of the “Nabd” campaign, efforts will continue to offer hope for recovery to patients suffering from congenital heart defects by funding programs aimed at providing advanced medical services, thereby reinforcing Dubai’s position as a leading center for sustainable humanitarian and health initiatives.
Saleh Zahir Al Mazrouei remarked that the “Nabd” initiative stands as one of the vital programs reflecting the enduring values of charity in our nation, contributing to saving the lives of numerous children and adults affected by congenital heart defects and granting them opportunities for better futures.
He added that “Nabd” was launched as a community initiative aimed at providing medical care for children with congenital heart defects but has since expanded to include adults and the elderly who are unable to afford treatment. The initiative has successfully delivered the best health care services through specialized medical teams.
Furthermore, the agreement aims to cover the costs of humanitarian medical campaigns under the “Nabd” initiative, embodying the essence of the medical profession and its core mission to save lives without regard to patients’ financial means, by facilitating surgical interventions and providing specialized medical care in accordance with the highest global medical standards.
