Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, welcomed Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the UAE. During the meeting, Sheikh Saif conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, to President Putin, along with wishes for continued development and prosperity for the Russian people.
The two leaders exchanged views on the strong bilateral relations between their nations and emphasized the importance of these ties in supporting global peace and solidarity. They also discussed various joint projects and initiatives in the fields of security and policing. Achievements in establishing strategic police dialogues and collaborative training in child protection were highlighted, as well as ways to bolster these initiatives to align with the visions of both countries’ leadership.
Present at the meeting was Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber, the UAE Ambassador to Russia.
Additionally, during his visit to the Russian Federation, Sheikh Saif met with Igor Krasnov, the Attorney General of Russia. The two leaders engaged in discussions regarding the exceptional bilateral relations between the UAE and Russia, particularly in security and policing sectors. They reviewed the strong ties between the leadership and officials of both nations and explored avenues for enhancing security and judicial cooperation, as well as sharing best practices to strengthen mutual coordination in serving the strategic interests of both friendly nations.
The meeting was attended by Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior; Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, General Commander of Dubai Police; and Major General Sheikh Mohammed bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police, along with Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber and several officials from both the UAE and Russia.
