Al-Bayan: A Timeless Example of Credibility and Commitment

I’m pleased to share a momentous occasion with the dedicated staff of the esteemed Al-Bayan newspaper and its valued readers everywhere as we celebrate the 45th anniversary of this national publication. Al-Bayan has consistently exemplified integrity and dedication, serving as a significant platform for addressing the issues of the nation, the region, and the world. The newspaper has played a vital and historic role in establishing exemplary journalism in the UAE, founded on strong principles. It fulfills various functions with efficiency and skill, whether documenting the successful journey of the state, informing readers of current events, supporting and affirming the national identity of Emiratis, or promoting trust, hope, and optimism about the bright future that awaits our beloved country.

As we commemorate 45 years since Al-Bayan’s inception, several important meanings come to mind:

First Meaning: Throughout its impressive journey, Al-Bayan has always embodied the aspirations and ambitions of the nation. It responds with conscious awareness and clear capability to the visionary principles of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his brother, the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, both of whom aspired for all state institutions, particularly media organizations, to be models of outstanding performance committed to serving society and humanity.

Second Meaning: Al-Bayan is, thankfully, a distinguished Arabic newspaper that reflects the highest ideals of loyalty and belonging to the Arab nation. It contributes to empowering the Arab community to engage wisely and intelligently with all developments and changes.

Third Meaning: All individuals who have worked at the newspaper over its lengthy and pioneering history deserve gratitude and appreciation. Today, Al-Bayan stands on solid ground of giving and achievement, thanks to the contributions of all the talented individuals who have been part of its journey, embodying excellence and success in journalism.

Fourth Meaning: As readers of this esteemed publication, we are fully confident in the successful future that lies ahead. We are assured that Al-Bayan will continue its journey filled with patriotism, defending national interests, adopting successful journalistic practices, and effectively adapting to all new developments.

Once again, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Al-Bayan family and its cherished readers, praying that this newspaper continues to be a model for diligent and sincere journalism in the UAE, the Gulf region, the Arab world, and indeed across the globe. Congratulations to the newspaper family, and we look forward to celebrating Al-Bayan’s achievements in both present and future endeavors.
