Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, the UAE’s Minister of Economy, recently engaged in a discussion with Ante Šušnjar, Croatia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, focusing on ways to improve cooperation across several economic domains.
This meeting was part of Bin Touq’s official tour of various European countries, intended to reinforce partnerships and encourage collaboration in fields such as the emerging economy, tourism, and cutting-edge technology.
Bin Touq pointed out that the UAE is committed to broadening its economic openness and diversifying its global alliances, particularly with emerging European markets. He highlighted that both the UAE and Croatia possess a shared vision for collaborating in critical strategic industries, including renewable energy, logistics, and creative sectors, thereby creating opportunities for new partnerships.
He underlined the significant economic potential of both nations, especially within the tourism sector, which is considered a promising area for both economies. This sector allows for valuable exchanges of expertise and experiences that set the UAE and Croatia apart in the international tourism and travel arena.
