Dubai Police Showcases Its Experience in Security Analysis and Prediction

During her participation in the Data Innovation Summit in Stockholm

The Dubai Police General Headquarters participated in the Data Innovation Summit 2025, which kicked off last Wednesday in the Swedish capital, Stockholm.

Major General Khaled Nasser Al-Razouqi, Director of the General Department of Artificial Intelligence at Dubai Police, emphasized that this participation is a continuation of Dubai Police’s commitment to leading in the fields of artificial intelligence and data analysis.

He pointed out that the presentations at the summit showcased the institutional maturity achieved by Dubai Police in utilizing data to enhance decision-making processes, improve operational efficiency, and bolster security readiness.

He stated, “We believe that investing in analytical infrastructure and national talents is fundamental to building a smart organization capable of anticipating and responding to security challenges effectively. Our participation in global forums like the Data Innovation Summit reaffirms our commitment to knowledge exchange and strengthens our position as a leading global security entity in adopting intelligent solutions.”

Captain Mohamed Salah Naqi, Head of Data Analysis at Dubai Police, delivered a presentation titled “From Building to Empowerment,” during which he shared Dubai Police’s experience in developing a hybrid data-driven business model that enhances decision-making flexibility, reduces operational costs, and leads to comprehensive institutional transformation.

He explained that the analytical model adopted by Dubai Police has empowered various departments to develop internal analytical dashboards, enhancing their independence in data analysis and decision-making, reducing reliance on external services, and improving institutional performance, resulting in significant financial savings.

Furthermore, he indicated that this new model goes beyond technical aspects by also promoting unified institutional governance and implementing best practices in managing the quality of analytical outputs, which has helped unify the operational vision among different departments and improve operational efficiency. This new model has fostered a culture of data-driven decision-making across various management levels and contributed to achieving strategic growth targets by 10% based on measurable performance indicators.

He concluded his presentation by emphasizing that this hybrid analytical model has become a cornerstone in supporting Dubai Police’s digital transformation strategy, as it provides security leaders with access to accurate, transparent, and intelligent analyses, enhancing security readiness and increasing the institution’s maturity in employing advanced technologies that support future security insights based on intelligence and data.
